Terms and Conditions

Acknowledgments – Costly errors can usually be prevented! We will fax or email you a confirmation of your order within 24 hours of its receipt. You should review the acknowledgment of the order and verify its accuracy. Sign the acknowledgment indicating that the order is correct and ready to be produced. Return it to us by fax or email and we will begin producing your order.

Order cancellation – Your order is not final until you have returned the signed acknowledgment. After that point, the order cannot be cancelled as it is a custom product made to your specifications.

Freight

Prices quoted do not include crating or freight charges. Please call for an exact quote on these charges.

Delivery and Acceptance

Before signing for your package, If damage is immediately noticeable, simply refuse the package and contact our office immediately before signing and accepting your package.  Once it is recieved and signed for, we cannot be responsible for any damage.

Damage – Orders are insured to arrive safely to your site. Once it is received and signed for, we cannot be responsible for any damage. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by regular use or by accidents beyond your control.

Return Policy
As all orders are custom made, we do not accept returns. Please verify your order before returning your signed acknowledgment.

 If your product has been made incorrectly by us and does not meet the specifications of the order, you must notify us within three days of its receipt so that we may correct the mistake. We retain the right to ask for the return of the incorrect product sent to you.

Tolerances
Dimensional tolerances are based on the thickness of the glass product as follows.

1/8” - ¼” material: +/- 1/16”

3/8” material: +/- 3/16”

½” material: +/- ¼”

Please allow adequate clearance to accommodate these industry tolerances.

Quality Standards – All glass materials contain flaws and blemishes which may be visible. The federal standard dictates that no defects should be visible from an eleven feet distance when viewed vertically in normal lighting. Our products conform to this industry standard.

Suitability and Applications – You bear the responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local building codes with respect to safety precautions, wind loading and suitability of purpose. Representations by employees or agents of Glass Source, orally or in writing, concerning the suitability of products sold by Glass Source are not authorized by Glass Source and may not be relied upon.

Payment Terms

All orders must be paid before being released to shipping. Glass Source accepts all major credit cards.

Lead time - The ship date for your order will be indicated on your acknowledgment and will be in effect if the acknowledgment is promptly returned.
